Dalam suatu proyek Konstruksi metode yang dipilih oleh pelaksana akan berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi, baik itu efisiensi biaya, efisiensi tenaga dan efisiensi waktu, sehingga kekeliruan dalam perencanaannya akan mengakibatkan pekerjaan konstruksi terhambat atau dengan kata lain efisiensi yang diinginkan tidak tercapai. Dalam tugas akhir ini metode pelaksanaan percepatan proyek dilakukan dengan dua alternative yaitu kerja lembur dan kerja shift malam dan membandingkan diantara kedua alternative tersebut yang lebih efisien dan optimal, dalam hal ini penjadwalan menggunakan MS. Project 2003 dan kurva "S" menggunakan MS. Excel 2007. Dari hasil perubahan metode pelaksanaan, waktu penyelesaian proyek tersebut dapat dipercepat sekitar 30 hari dari waktu normal 173 hari, serta biaya tambahan yang terjadi adalah sebesar Rp. 188.307.000,00 untuk kerja lembur dan Rp. 123.289.000,00 untuk shift malam.

In a construction project, the execution method employed by the builder will influence not only the cost and energy but also time efficiency. Error in planning will make the construction work late. In other words, the required efficiency fails. The objectives of this final project are to recalculate the acceleration cost and find out a better work between overwork and night shift. The acceleration is done to the construction of the Faculty of Education School Building State University of Malang using 2 alternations - overwork and night shift. Ms. Project 2003 is employed for scheduling, and MS. Excel 2007 is for Curve "S". The Change of the execution method results in hastened time of 30 days out of 173 days and additional cost of Rp. 188, 307, 000. 00 for the overwork, and Rp. 123, 289, 000. 00 for the night shift.
